Azita Ghanizada

Azita An. Ghanizada (born in Afghanistan) is an Afghan American Actress in the United States. She has appeared in many television shows. She was born in Kabul Afghanistan her family fled their home country to the US and was granted asylum to remain. She was raised by her two sisters living in Northern Virginia. Ghanizada began her career on television by being featured in National Commercials. In the Laura Neri film A Kiss on the Nose (2004) Ghanizada was the principal character in Chiara an appearance for which she was awarded an award for best actress at a film festival nomination. She has appeared in television shows like How I Met Your Mother and Entourage. Veronica Mars, The Wedding Bells NuMB3RS Bones Psych as well as Castle. The most recent role she has played is a role as a support on the show Blood Shot, (2009) which is based on the science-fiction movie Blood Shot and independent comedy You Only Better (2009). Ghanizada started her acting career in 2008, when she joined the cast for the General Hospital spin-off General Hospital. as the character Dr. Saira Bhata, an specialist in holistic health on Night Shift's second season.
